Access control in details

The Access Control and Management System (ACMS) is a set of technical tools designed to ensure authorized entry into designated areas of a building, restricting access for different categories of employees and visitors to specific zones and/or rooms within the facility. Access Control and Management Systems (ACMS) are widely used across all industries. Our company’s specialists provide professional and reliable support in selecting the most suitable solution for your specific needs. We thoroughly explain the differences and benefits of available system options, and offer system design, installation, and configuration at reasonable prices. With extensive experience in implementing ACMS, we install

Access Control System Use Cases

Access to any room—whether it’s the director’s office, accounting department, warehouse, or any other office space—can be restricted for each individual, whether a visitor, client, or company employee, by installing an access control system. This system also allows attendance tracking. An employee simply needs to present their card to the reader, for example, at the entrance, and the access control system handles the rest. At the end of the month or workweek, management can evaluate employee attendance and punctuality based on the recorded data. For stricter control, the access control system can be configured to monitor breaks and movements between departments. Checkpoint logs help instantly determine the employee’s current location.

(Business center, factory, government organization, hospital)
Access to any organization can be arranged so that the time spent passing through the security checkpoint—especially during busy morning and evening hours—is minimized, ensuring smooth and efficient entry for employees and visitors alike. Moreover, access permissions for any individual can be granted or revoked instantly, enhancing security and flexibility. The system also provides detailed logs of entry and exit times, supporting attendance tracking, emergency response, and compliance requirements. Integration with other security measures such as CCTV and alarms can create a comprehensive safety environment tailored to the organization's needs.

(Enterprise territory, logistics or warehouse complex, parking lot)
Controlled access combined with security personnel at the parking area helps prevent various unpleasant situations, such as occupied reserved parking spaces or even vehicle theft. Access control not only provides additional safety—for example, through automatic license plate recognition—but also allows accurate tracking of the time vehicles spend in the parking lot, which is especially important for paid parking facilities.

Universities, Institutes, Schools, and Others
Attendance tracking of students is very important in the modern world, not only for discipline but also for safety. Having a contactless pass for each student or teacher allows determining their presence or absence in the classroom at any time. Losing a contactless key is not critical, as the security guard can allow the student or teacher through the turnstile using a remote control. All events—passing through the turnstile by card or by the guard’s command—are recorded in the system’s non-volatile memory.

Additionally, the access control system can be configured with various options, such as SMS notifications to parents about the times their child passes through the turnstile, both at the start and end of the day. The system can be set up so that if a card is lost, it can be instantly excluded from the list of authorized cards, making it impossible to use for entry. It is also impossible to enter the educational institution twice using the same card in a short period.

Access readers can be installed not only at the building entrance but also inside, for example, in lower grade classrooms, the teachers’ lounge, cafeteria, medical office, principal’s office, gym, and library. Entry to these rooms is only possible with a programmed card, and exit is done by pressing an exit button. In case of fire, all locks can be unlocked quickly via computer to allow free exit of children and adults from the dangerous area.

(Hotels, motels, guest houses, boarding houses)

There are several access control system options for hotels, as this sector is connected with hotel management software, but fundamentally the differences are not significant. Installed access control systems in hotels offer several advantages for guests, staff, and owners alike.

This system facilitates entry and, unlike any mechanical lock, remains just as reliable. Readers with a long detection range allow guests to pass through access points without even having to present a card or chip directly to the reader—since it detects the key from several meters away, the door opens automatically, letting guests enter effortlessly, which is especially convenient when carrying luggage.

In hotels equipped with access control systems, only those staff members who are authorized and scheduled can access guest rooms and other areas. For guest convenience, cards can be programmed so that, for example, housekeeping can enter rooms only during designated times.

Loss or theft of a key card is not critical because the lost card can be blocked and replaced within minutes. Guests can be confident that no one will be able to use the old key in their absence.
